Learning English Activity in STIE Bina Karya During the Pandemic

Corona virus is a worldwide disease which affect human life. Students cannot have their face to face class, now it has changed. The use of internet connection is highly increased, particularly in joining the online learning application. To stop covid 19 community transmission, government rule of the technology implementation become the choice in education to keep going the education system. Blended learning was the learning method implemented in STIE Bina Karya, especially in learning English. This was a qualitative research which is to find out the blended learning implementation in English subject in STIE Bina Karya. From the thirty eight informants, it found that the implementation of the five online learning platforms (Google Classroom, WhatsApp, Zoom Meeting, Youtube, Google Form) in learning English have some obstacles. The major obstacles were the limited internet data package and the unstable internet connection. Therefore Google Classroom and WhatsApp were the favourable online learning application, while Zoom Meeting and Youtube were dislike since they need the stable internet connection and they need a lot of internet quota.
